I made a bit of a blunder with the February renewal reminder letter that went out with the February TT. The letter shows the renewal date as 31/12/07 it should read 28/02/08. The database for your renewal date is correct and when you renew the 1 year renewal date will be 28/02/09. I apologise for this error and hope it doesn’t cause you any problems.
 
We have introduced the option to renew for 3 or 5 years. 3 years renewal will cost  £67.50 making a saving of 10% and the 5 years will cost £110 making a saving of 12% for UK renewals. The cost for overseas members will be: 3 years renewal will cost £81 making a saving of 10% and the 5 years will cost £132 making a saving of 12%
If you would like to take advantage of these saving please make your cheque out for the appropriate amount and send it to me. At the moment 3 and 5 year renewal is not an option on the website, although it will become available for UK members as our new website evolves. If you do renew for 3 or 5 years your renewal date will be set accordingly and if there is any increase in membership fee during this time it will not effect you till your next renewal.

How refreshing the new site is ,I was really pleased to see that all the Vanfest information and photos have now been brought over to the new site                                                                                                                     If looking through all those pictures dont make people want to join then I dont know what will

Will the on-line paying of membership fees be up and running by the end of Febuary?

Thank you for the comments about the new web site.  I am sure more and more useful articles, photos and information will appear as it matures.

Membership renewal should be available through the My Account menu.  There is quite a lot of database work to be done and it is difficult to say for sure when features will go live.  The old web site will allow payment for renewal and Carol (Membership Sec) can update the database to keep things in harmony.

The transition may well have a few teathing problems so please bear with us.

However, we need to be sure that everyone knows the score. 

Please keep entries friendly.  We will remove or edit out unsavoury content, but we prefer that you avoid posting it in the first place.  Remember that people of all kinds read these pages, and the Club is supposed to be a fun place to be.  Anyone who persists in leaving foul messages will be struck off the users list, Club member or not.
