Wightmoves 18/07/2009 15:58	Hi do we have any members on the Isle of Wight? Feeling a bit lonely down here. I have a 1979 Devon which I am desperately trying to get on the road for Vanfest (any help greatly appreciated). Be good to hear from any fellow Isle of Wighters.

Cartman 20/07/2009 09:21	Hi Wightmoves At the moment there are only two members of the VWT2OC on the Isle of Wight. I'm sure there will be many more vans than that, so why not recruit a few new members? Email the Membership Secretaries on vwt2oc.membership@yahoo.co.uk and they will send you some membership forms for you to give out. That way you will have plenty of company, and will get a free year's membership if you five people join as a result of your recommendation. Good luck!

djhammy 20/07/2009 14:22	HI Wightmoves. When Derek and Christie ran the IOW rally at Newchurch we did 2 round the island ride outs 2 years running with the IOW VW club They have plenty of members for sure. I assumed many were members of the Type 2's as well. All the best Dave/Hammy

derekandchristie 12/08/2009 08:07	Hello Fellow member,There are a lot of VW owners on the IOW they have several run outs a year.You may find out more via local newspaper or searching for them on Google.They are not a organised club as we know it.Some of them are also members of our club.They contacted us while having club camps near Sandown.You may wish to know that we are coming back to the Island next year from the 27th of June to the 4th of July at Heathfield ,Freshwater. Give us a ring nearer the time if you wish to meet up with the gang. Best Wishes Derek & Christie

Conversation does not have to revolve around the Club, vans, VW or anything else necessarily linked to the rest of the site.

However, we need to be sure that everyone knows the score.

Remember that people of all kinds read these pages, and the Club is supposed to be a fun place to be. Anyone who persists in leaving foul messages will be struck off the users list, Club member or not.
