That does sound good!  Scarborough has surfing and pubs and fish and chips - all we have to do is decide when!

Tim and I are off to Perpignan with the club in a couple of weeks, so we probably would have to say that until we're back from that trip we're busy.  However, we'd be interested after then.

What about a more regular meet somewhere as well, to get a bit of a local branch going?  Or am I jumping the gun?

This is what we joined the Club for, and it would be fun to see some fo the other local members.  We see plenty of vans about, but don't get a chance to stop and chat.

Well, 'Utch and I actually went to the Scarborough meet on Sunday.  Great to see so many vans and beetles.  There seemed to be plenty of interest.  We rode down the marina - that caught some attention!  Then on to Cayton Bay for a beach barbecue.  A very good afternoon out, especially as the weather held up.

I hate to cross-thread, but is there anyone else in the club who would like to meet up in Leeds or thereabouts for a more regular social event?  I know the evenings are only shortening as we go on, but there are at least fourteen members in the area.  Come on, guys!
