How easy is it to replace the swivel pin on the front beam?

I'm totally new to t2's.

the one on my '76 bay has started to knock so I've got a new one and wondered if it's a garage job or be done on my driveway?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can do it on your driveway but you will need some patience as with everything VW!!!!!!

The hardest part is geting the old bushes out, but this can be acheived with a little thought.

I took my beam out to fix mine on my old baywindow, as I also needed to do all four ball joints so the beam was pretty much stripped anyway.
